DR. MAX JAVATE
Physical Therapist, DPT, & OCS
Dr. Max Javate was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2012 with a degree in Kinesiological Sciences. He was also a two-time letterman for the Rebels baseball team and was on Team Philippines for the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifying Tournament in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
Prior to receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine in 2019, he worked as a physical therapy tech and had many roles working with outpatient orthopaedic patients and also served as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) assisting with the College of Southern Nevada baseball team.
The younger Dr. Javate is Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) and has worked myriad post-operative patients and those with overuse injuries such as rotator cuff tendinopathy or Little League elbow. He emphasizes breathing techniques, manual therapy, static and dynamic cupping, dry-needling and manual resistance exercises with a hands-on approach to provide tactile cues for proper exercise form.
